Rabbi Daniel Landes is the Rosh HaYeshiva of the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem.
He received his rabbinical ordination from Rabbi Joseph Soloveitchik, widely regarded as one of the most influential rabbis of the 20th century.
Originally from Chicago, Rabbi Landes was a founding faculty member of both the Simon Wiesenthal Center and of Yeshiva University in Los Angeles.
Rabbi Landes is a vocal advocate of interfaith dialogue and he was invited to address a conference in Bali hosted by the President of Indonesia and the 2008 International Scholars Annual Trialogue in Amman, Jordan.
He moved to Israel 13 years ago with his family.
